An Index of Articles Appearing in the Statesville Record and Landmark, 1954-1968” was created by longtime Iredell County Public Library volunteer Robert “Bob” E. Brady. For many years Mr. Brady volunteered in the library’s Local History Department indexing the obituaries from microfilm and recording them with pencil and pad. While researching the obituaries he also recorded a list by date of the more prominent articles appearing in the papers. His handwritten documents have been transcribed and indexed by library staff and placed online to assist Iredell County researchers.
