How It Works

  • No registration required. Simply collect a Summer Reading packet from your local branch for each member of your household who will be participating, or download and print the documents below. These packets will contain reading logs, activities, a virtual program schedule, and some extra goodies just for fun.
  • Follow us on social media. We will be posting virtual programming videos you can follow along with Monday-Saturday, featuring library favorites like storytime, Maker Mondays, and more. Summer Reading programming will run from June 1st-August 1st.Facebook1 Opens in new windowInstagram1 Opens in new window
  • Connect with us! We want to see how you’re using the stories and activities from our programs. Tag us in any Summer Reading content you post, and use hashtag #iredellreads2020 to join other patrons in sharing the fun.
  • At the end of the Summer Reading period, show your reading log to a library staff member to receive a prize (while supplies last!).
