Beginning July 1, 2010, the Iredell County Public Library will change some fees. These changes are a result of increased costs for the services affected.
The increased fees are:
- Computer printouts: The cost of printing from public computers will increase from 10¢ per page to 30¢ per page. Thirty cents per page is the actual cost of printing including paper and printer cartridges.
- Computer use guest fees: For out-of-county public computer users who do not have Iredell County Public Library library cards, their will be a $2.00 charge for a 2-hour guest pass. Guests are limited to one guest pass per day.
- Out-of-county library card fee: The cost of an Iredell County Public Library for patrons living outside Iredell County will be $20.00 per year. This fee will be charged to all out-of-county card holders unless they own property in the county and pay property tax on real estate in Iredell County. There are no exceptions for those working, teaching, or attending school in Iredell County.
