Early Landowner's Map
Mildred J. Miller is a long time member and former President of the Genealogical Society of Iredell County and has worked for years in the office of the Genealogy and Historic Properties Commission which is the official office of the Society. A noted genealogist and local historian, Mrs. Miller has helped in the preservation of Iredell County history through her writings and her assistance to researchers.
In 1988 she created a map showing the early landowners in Iredell County. Mrs. Miller who holds copyright to this map has given her permission for the Iredell County Public Library to present this map on our website.
The Genealogical Society of Iredell County is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to publish reliable genealogical materials and to preserve records for future generations. The Genealogical Society of Iredell County office is located in the Iredell County Government Center in the Genealogical & Historic Properties Commission Room.
