Theresa Barba Author Visit

Theresa Barba, author of How Talia Met Tanner, will appear at the library in Statesville for a book signing on Saturday, September 22 at 2:00 pm. Barba, a Brooklyn native who now lives in Statesville, calls herself a big kid at heart. She said her book brings together her three loves: children, dogs, and writing.
The book is a tale of a shepherd-mix dog named Talia who gets lost in the woods, and a pit bull named Tanner who befriends Talia. The dogs in the story are based on real dogs that belong to a friend of Barba’s.
Come meet Theresa Barba at the library on September 22. This event is free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the signing.
